About Me

I was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant into the Medical Service Corps in 2007 upon graduation from the United States Military Academy. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Life Sciences.

After completion of the AMEDD Officer Basic Course in October 2007, I was assigned to Charlie Company, 26th Brigade Support Battalion, 3rd Infantry Division at Fort Stewart, Georgia where I deployed to Al Kut, Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom 07-08 as the Treatment Platoon Leader.

I deployed with my unit again to Mosul, Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom 09-10 and Operation New Dawn, serving as the Company Executive Officer and then the Assistant S-3. Upon return to Fort Stewart, I served as the 26th Brigade Support Battalion S-3. I graduated from the AMEDD Captains Career Course in July 2011 and was assigned to the 2D Brigade Support Battalion, 2D Stryker Brigade Combat Team where I deployed for a third time in support of Operation Enduring Freedom 12-13. During deployment I served as the Deputy Support Operations Officer and in August 2012 I took command of Charlie Company. I served as Company Commander for 24 months. I am currently working towards getting my Masters of Health Administration (MHA) and Masters of Business Administration (MBA) at the Army-Baylor Program at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.

I am married to CPT John Cook and we have one daughter (Madison Arya) and one dog (Haley, a black lab). In my free time I love to travel (I have been to every continent except for Antartica) and explore the outdoors (running, hiking and skiing).
